Obituary for Mrs. Lauren Michele Faison

Clinton, NC - It is with profound sorrow that the Management and Staff of Williams & Ashford Funeral Directors, announce the transition of Mrs. Lauren Faison, 68. Mrs. Faison transitioned on Wednesday, October 25, 2023

“I can do all this through Christ which strengthens me” Philippians 4:13

Lauren Michele Waller Faison was born on November 26, 1954 in Bronx, New York and rasied in Yonkers, New York by the late Linzer Solomon Waller and Marion McQuay Waller. She attended High School in New York and continued her education at Bennet College receiving her BA. She received her Masters degree at Herbert H. Lehman College,CCNY concentrating in special education. Lauren was employed at various of school systems in New York and North Carolina for 33 years. She loved teaching preschool children/special needs. Lauren was passionate about traveling, exploring new territories,nature,sewing,shopping,singing,cooking,driving and mentoring others.
Lauren was a child of God who used her gifts through music. She used her voice to sing melodies in the choir beginning at The Bible Church of Christ in New York and North Carolina. In the early 2000’s she joined New Vision Christian Church where she continued her calling from God. She worked with the youth through her teachings, and had a special vision to work with the youth in Mime Ministry. Lauren was full of patience, love,wisdom,knowledge,compassion, and always open her heart to others with words of encouragement.

The special kind of love she had for the love of her life Johnnie and her dearest daughter Tabitha was unmeasurable. On October 25,2023 the Lord called her to travel home eternally.

She leaves to celebrate her precious life memories with: Deacon Johnnie E. Faison her loving husband. Her precious and loving daughter Tabitha Michele Faison, Corey Joyner son, Cristahne Joyner granddaughter. Sisters: Pastor Sheila(Pastor Leon),Bishop Lynn Miffin, Connie(George) McIntosh, Dawn(Mark) Holland, Tanisha Waller. One brother Leon Walker.

Sister in law Mary(Bishop Ronnie) Hood, Sharon(Rev Dr Robert Williams.
